Mark received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Temple University in 1983 and his Juris Doctor from The Delaware Law School of Widener University in 1987. He was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1987 and to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania in 1989.
He was an Associate in the law firm of Holsten and White from 1988 – 1990, where he represented civil defendants primarily in issues pertaining to municipal liability, personal injury, and workers' compensation. From 1990 – 1999, Mark was employed by Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin, where he was responsible for handling a large, active caseload in workers' compensation, involving all aspects of litigation from initial file development through appeals. Mark ultimately became a Shareholder in the Marshall firm and held a supervisory position. He was co-founder of the law firm of Foley and Gulasarian, LLP, in 2000, which practice was predominantly devoted toward defending employers in workers' compensation matters, and then formed The Law Offices of Mark J. Gulasarian, PC, in 2003. From 2003 – 2009, he was affiliated with the law firm of Thomas C. Lowry, Esq., P.C. & Associates, where his continued focus was on the representation of clients in connection with issues involving Pennsylvania workers' compensation law.
Mark is currently a member of the Chester County, Delaware County, Montgomery and Pennsylvania Bar Associations.
