Kenneth R. Schuster Founding Member. Practicing in Delaware County since 1982.

Schuster Law was founded by Kenneth R. Schuster, admitted to the Pennsylvania bar in 1982, and has practiced from Delaware County ever since. The firm has six attorneys and two offices, in Media and Chester, and handles injury, workers compensation, nursing home abuse, disability and land use matters.

The same county since 1982

Ken Schuster was admitted to the Pennsylvania bar in 1982 and has practiced in Delaware County from that year. The firm grew from the Media office, and he trained most of the attorneys now working alongside him.

Forty years in one county means the same judges, the same insurance carriers and the same examining physicians. It is not a marketing claim, it is the practical difference between knowing how a particular hearing will run and finding out.

How we work

A named attorney owns your file. Not a case manager. The person who takes your call is the person at your hearing, and all six are named on this site with bar numbers you can check on the Pennsylvania Disciplinary Board register.

You get a straight answer about money. What it costs you is nothing up front and nothing at all unless we recover. What your claim is realistically worth, and when your checks restart, we will tell you plainly, including the parts that are slow and the parts you will not like.

We take the whole injury. A work injury frequently carries a second claim, against a machine manufacturer, another contractor, or a driver. Firms that only handle compensation file the compensation claim and stop. We look for the second case as a matter of routine, because it is usually worth more.

What we do not do

We do not lead with settlement figures. Most people who call have not got a headline case, they have a wage loss crisis, and the question they need answered is whether their money restarts and when.

We do not publish a page for every town in the county implying an office. We have two, Media and Chester, and both are real.

We do not sign people up when we do not think they have a claim. That is a short unpleasant conversation and it is better than eighteen months of one.

What we handle

Workers compensation, personal injury, nursing home abuse and neglect, short and long term disability and Social Security, and land use and zoning.

The offices

Media, 334 W Front St, the head office, a short walk from the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas. Chester, 405 Avenue of the States, serving the south and riverfront end of the county. Both answered 24 hours.

The attorneys who handle these cases

Every one of these bar numbers is searchable on the Pennsylvania Disciplinary Board register. The person who takes your call is the person at your hearing.

Questions people ask us about this

How long has the firm been in Delaware County?

Since 1982, when Kenneth R. Schuster was admitted to the Pennsylvania bar. The firm has practiced from Delaware County continuously since then, and he trained most of the attorneys now working alongside him.

Will I deal with an attorney or a case manager?

An attorney. The person who takes your call is the person who handles your file and appears at your hearing. All six are named on this site with Pennsylvania bar numbers you can verify on the Disciplinary Board register.

What does it cost?

Nothing up front, and nothing at all unless we recover for you. The fee is a percentage agreed in writing before we start, and in workers compensation matters it must be approved by a judge. We will walk you through every deduction before you sign anything.

Do you have offices outside Delaware County?

No. Two offices, Media and Chester, both real. We litigate in Philadelphia, Chester and Montgomery Counties and in the federal courts, and we take cases across Pennsylvania, but we do not claim an office in a town where we do not have one.

What if you do not think I have a case?

We will tell you on the first call rather than signing you up. It is a short unpleasant conversation and it is considerably better than eighteen months of one.
