The community of Pilgrim Gardens is located in the Haverford Township in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. The community is near Aronimink, Adele, Drexel Hill, and Highland Park. History

The area was initially part of the land owned by William Penn, known as the Welsh Tract. As many as 40,000 acres were purchased from William Penn by Welsh Quaker in 1681. Each of the prominent members took a patent on 5,000 acres of land. Early land was cultivated as farm and agricultural until late in the 20th century.
