IceWorks Skating Complex
Home to over 180 hockey teams, this skating club has a variety of attractions to offer, from skating lessons to venues rentals, there’s something for everyone at Ice Works Skating Complex.
History
The skating rink opened in October of 1997, with two arenas, one sized for NHL, and another sized for the Olympics. A few years later, two more NHL sized arenas opened along with other amenities such as a restaurant, arcade, pub and grille, apparel sore, hockey, and figuring skating rooms and banquet halls.
Classes
With roots deeply seeded in their community, Iceworks staff members are dedicated to the development of youth hockey and figure skating, shown through their programs available. Learn to Skate is a program offered to the public, endorsed by US Figure Skating/USA Hockey and US Speed Skating and Special Olympics. It is designed to introduce a lifelong appreciation and dedication to their youth of skaters, in a positive and upbeat environment. Children and teens can partake in junior competitions and enjoy a healthy competitive arena where they can strengthen their basic skills as skaters and continue to grow.

Located inside IceWorks, you can enjoy a luxury suite dining experience at The Pub & Grille, where you can sip on an ice-cold beer and order from a menu selection of authentic Philly favorites. Plan your next child’s birthday celebration and choose from their list of party packages designed for your convenience. The ice rink is also open to the public and provides public skating sessions for all ages and levels of experience.
